The Pulsar Symbion series is a family of multispectral binoculars designed for users who need both thermal detection and digital identification in a single, integrated platform. By combining full-color digital imaging, digital night vision, and thermal detection with a laser rangefinder in a single, field-ready system, the Symbion allows users to detect heat signatures, identify targets visually, and measure distance without switching devices.
Both Symbion models feature a magnesium alloy housing rated IP67 for protection against dust, water immersion, and hard field use. A 1920×1080 AMOLED display presents a clear, high-contrast image across day, night, and low-light conditions. The dual-channel design allows users to run thermal and digital views independently or combine them using Picture-in-Picture and multispectral overlay modes, providing context that thermal or digital alone cannot offer.
The Symbion LRF DXR50 uses a 640×480 thermal sensor with <35 mK NETD, prioritizing thermal sensitivity and detail in challenging conditions such as fog, rain, or dense vegetation . Both models share a 50 mm F/1.0 thermal lens and a digital optical channel with up to 26× magnification.
A built-in 905 nm laser rangefinder provides distance measurements out to 1500m with ±1m accuracy, supporting precise ranging for observation, navigation, or ballistic calculation when paired with the Stream Vision Ballistics app. Internal video and photo recording with audio capture allows users to document observations directly to onboard memory, while Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enable live streaming and data transfer to mobile devices.
Powered by a removable APS5 battery system with USB-C external power support, the Symbion is built for extended field sessions without reliance on fixed power sources. Manual, automatic, and semi-automatic calibration options allow users to adapt image performance to changing environmental conditions in real time.
