The Pulsar Merger LRF thermal binoculars are designed in a classic daytime binocular form. Thanks to their compact size, they fit comfortably in the hands and offer excellent ergonomics. Six control buttons are positioned in an easily accessible area and are intuitive to use, even during prolonged observation sessions.
Comfortable two-eye viewing
The dual-eyepiece design significantly reduces eye strain during long observation periods and provides a more natural image perception. Using both eyes allows the brain to process visual information more efficiently, improving comfort and reducing fatigue compared to monocular devices.
Laser rangefinder with long measuring distance
Understanding target distance is essential for accurate decision-making. The integrated laser rangefinder measures distances up to 1000 meters with ±1 meter accuracy. It supports both single measurements and continuous scanning modes for fast and reliable distance assessment.
High-resolution thermal sensor 1024×768 @ 12 µm
The thermal sensor with NETD <20 mK ensures excellent detail recognition even in challenging conditions with low temperature contrast. Small temperature differences remain clearly visible in rain, fog, and cold environments.
Large F50 / 1.0 aperture lens
The fast F50 / 1.0 lens plays a crucial role in detecting low-level thermal radiation. Combined with a highly sensitive thermal sensor, it delivers sharp, detailed, and high-contrast images even in poor weather conditions where thermal contrast is minimal.
Advanced image processing algorithms
Merger LRF uses advanced image optimization based on observation goals and environmental conditions. Three signal amplification levels, combined with smoothing filters and fine brightness and contrast adjustments, help detect animals at long distances and assess target details more accurately.
Dual battery system – up to 10 hours of operation
The device is powered by two rechargeable batteries: a built-in 4 Ah battery and a replaceable 3.2 Ah battery. This system provides up to 10 hours of operation on a single charge. The textured battery housing allows fast and secure battery replacement even in complete darkness.
Long detection range
Thanks to the powerful optics and the high-sensitivity thermal sensor, a standard 1.8-meter-tall object can be detected at distances of up to 2300 meters in complete darkness.
2.5×–20× variable magnification
Digital zoom up to 8× improves target recognition at long distances. Magnification can be adjusted stepwise in 2× increments or continuously to achieve optimal zoom for any situation.
Wi-Fi connectivity and Stream Vision 2 compatibility
Built-in Wi-Fi enables connection to smartphones for real-time image streaming, remote device control, media transfer, and firmware updates. The device also supports cloud storage for recorded photos and videos.
IPX7 waterproof rating
With an IPX7 protection rating, Merger LRF operates reliably in heavy rain and high humidity and can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
Durable magnesium alloy housing
The lightweight yet robust magnesium alloy housing protects internal components from impacts, drops, moisture, heat, and cold. The metal body also efficiently dissipates heat, reducing image noise and ensuring stable performance during extended use.
Extended Wi-Fi support: 2.4 / 5 GHz
In addition to the standard 2.4 GHz band, Merger LRF supports 5 GHz Wi-Fi, providing faster data transfer, improved stability, and better resistance to interference.
Wide operating temperature range
Designed to operate from –25 °C to +50 °C, the device delivers reliable performance in extreme weather. The frost-resistant AMOLED display maintains fast response time and sharp image quality even in motion.
Built-in photo and video recording
The integrated recorder allows storing hours of video and thousands of photos in internal memory. Media can be transferred via USB-C, and additional cloud storage is available through the mobile application.
High-contrast HD AMOLED display
The HD AMOLED display delivers a bright, high-contrast image with smooth motion and excellent detail, while maintaining low power consumption.
8 color palettes
Eight color palettes allow the user to optimize viewing for detection, recognition, and long-term observation. White Hot, Black Hot, and Red Hot are ideal for detection, while Rainbow and Ultramarine improve identification. Red Monochrome, Sepia, and Violet are best suited for prolonged nighttime observation.
