The Krypton 2 thermal imaging device combines a thermal imaging module with the quick-release Pulsar 3×20B monocular, which can be used as an eyepiece. In one solution, the hunter gets a 3× magnification monocular for natural daytime observation and a thermal imaging device compatible with monocular-type daytime optics. The quick-release adapter allows Krypton 2 to be removed from a daytime riflescope or binoculars and reinstalled in seconds, while the precise positioning mechanism ensures the thermal image is perfectly centered within the daytime optic’s field of view.
Durable magnesium alloy housing
The rugged yet lightweight magnesium alloy housing provides high structural strength, protecting Krypton 2 from impacts and vibration loads. It is resistant to mechanical stress, temperature extremes, and environmental conditions. The magnesium housing also efficiently dissipates heat from electronic components, improving overall operational stability.
Maximum energy efficiency – up to 11 hours of operation on a single charge
The quick-swap rechargeable IPS7 Li-Ion battery delivers up to 11 hours of continuous operation. A single battery pack is sufficient for all-night use without replacement. Fast removal, wireless design, and long operating time are the key advantages of this power system.
Compact and well-balanced
Every extra gram matters in hunting. Krypton 2 is lightweight and comfortable to use. Thanks to its short length, light construction, and balanced weight distribution, it has minimal impact on balance when mounted on a riflescope or binocular objective lens. The controls are also easy to reach and operate.
Stream Vision 2 – Wi-Fi integration with iOS and Android
Built-in Wi-Fi connects Krypton 2 to Android and iOS smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 mobile app. This enables wireless firmware updates, real-time image streaming to a smartphone, sharing photos and videos on social media or with contacts, remote control of device functions, and access to the latest news from Pulsar. Registered users also receive 16 GB of cloud storage for photos and videos captured by the device.
Quick-release PSP-B bayonet adapters with precise screen positioning
The thermal clip-on attaches to the adapter via a four-point bayonet mount. This connection is highly reliable and quick to use. The device can be removed from one adapter and mounted on another without special tools, allowing different daytime optics to be easily converted into thermal imaging systems. The precise screen positioning mechanism ensures perfect alignment of the thermal or night vision image within the daytime optic’s field of view for maximum viewing comfort.
Full HD multicolor AMOLED display
The new Full HD multicolor AMOLED display offers high contrast, a wide dynamic range, and low power consumption. Fast response time ensures a clear and smooth image when observing in motion or in freezing conditions.
8 color palettes
Eight color palettes allow users to adapt the device to specific tasks and changing observation conditions. White Hot, Black Hot, and Red Hot are optimal for object detection, while Rainbow and Ultramarine enhance recognition and identification. Red Monochrome, Sepia, and Violet are best suited for prolonged nighttime observation.
Operation in extreme temperatures from −25 to +50 °C
The Krypton 2 housing, power system, optics, and electronics are designed for reliable performance across a wide temperature range, ensuring effective operation down to −25 °C.
Customizable user interface
A new feature of Pulsar thermal imaging attachments is a customizable graphical user interface. Menu and status bar elements can be scaled so that, when changing the magnification of the daytime riflescope, current attachment status information remains visible and the menu can be comfortably operated across a wide magnification range.
